Week 4 term 2

 Today we did play, make, create I did build I worked with Johan we made a thing that tells you what to do. There is a lever that you have to spin to tell you yes or no. 

 

Kite day 2021

 On Friday we made kites I worked with Cody we made our kite out of a flag. We used a Waikato flag it worked surprisingly. We the stick from the flag for the frame. Our tail was made out of string and ribbon we used a hand line to attach to the kite. Then we went outside to test it but it did not work then looked at it then we figured it out we needed to tape up the sides. So we taped it up then we took it back outside it worked it was a success! 

Week 3 term 2

 Today we did play, make, create I did design I worked with Nate we made a house with things that we like doing. It was not easy because we did not like the same things so talked about and we figured it out. here are the photos.

Today we did play, make, create I did create I worked alongside with Cohen.

It was all about what we loved and what we were passionate about.

The book was called be you.

It was really hard to think of things I like.

My favourite part was knowing things are really liked.

 

Term 2, Week 1 2021

 Term 2, Week 1 2021

During Term 1 we have been practising our addition and subtraction knowledge through the online programme called NumBots.  At the start, it was super easy but progressively got more challenging.

I am now on bronze level of NumBots.  

I enjoy NumBots because it is fun and challenging

What I find challenging is to move up stages. 

This week we have started TTRockstars.  This is an online programme which helps us to learn our timetables. First, we had to complete 10 Studio games which were really hard because they had basic facts right up to 12 x 12. Now that hard part is over we can play in the Garage and start learning our tables playing studio games.  

I think that TTRockstars will be really hard at studio at first but it's going to be really easy.

Up the creek play make create

 Today we did play, make, create on up the creek book I worked with Christian. 

And the hardest thing was drawing on the little stick with a red pen.

The easiest thing was taping everything on.

We made a compass and the stick was to measure the depth of the water to navigate the Moose, Bear and

Beaver.
